A&K Railroad Materials Inc is hiring a General Laborer to support yard operations at our Kansas City, KS location. This full-time, Monday–Friday role involves hands-on physical work outdoors and indoors, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

As a General Laborer, you will move, sort, and stage rail materials, assist with production and yard operations, and work with basic tools in a fast-paced environment. Prior yard experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

• Heavy manual labor in yard operations.
• Must be reliable and work well in a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Move, sort, load, and stage rail materials and other inventory.
• Assist with general yard operations and production support.
• Operate basic tools and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe indoor and outdoor work areas.
• Work closely with team members to meet daily operational needs.
