Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking General Laborers to perform varied tasks at construction sites in the Kings Bay area. Prevailing wages apply on military installations. Pay is $18.00–$25.00 per hour DOE, with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401k with match.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, at least two years in field or trade work in commercial construction, and CPR/First Aid and OSHA certifications preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of field or trade experience in commercial construction; gov/military or large projects preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Forklift/Manlift training and certification preferred.
• Fall Protection training preferred.
• OSHA 10/30-hour certification preferred.
• Trenching & Shoring and Confined Space training preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of physical tasks at construction sites using hand and power tools.
• Assist other craft workers with tasks and prepare sites.
• Clean debris, remove non-hazardous waste, and operate power construction equipment as needed.
