Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least two years of field or trade work experience in commercial construction is required; experience in government, military, or large commercial construction projects is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications are preferred.
• Forklift/Manlift training and certification
• Fall Protection training
• Scissor lift/boom lift certification
• OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification
• Trenching & Shoring training
• Confined Space training
• Lockout/Tagout training

Responsibilities

• As a General Laborer, you will perform a variety of physical tasks at construction sites, using hand and power tools of all kinds.
• You may also assist other craft workers with their tasks, including cleaning and preparing sites, clearing debris, and removing non-hazardous waste.
• Additionally, you may operate one or several types of power construction equipment.
• All tasks will be carried out in accordance with safety protocols and in alignment with RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and Values.
