Commercial Pipefitters - Kings Bay Naval Base, GA and the surrounding areas

RQ is currently seeking experienced

Pipefitters to join our Mechanical team supporting projects in

Kings Bay Naval Base, Georgia; Jacksonville, Florida; and nearby areas. All work is performed on military installations and is compensated according to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to each site.

Since its establishment in 1996, RQ, LLC has built a strong reputation as a leader in the commercial and government Design-Build construction industry. Today, we operate nationwide with active projects across the country, including in Georgia. Our field teams work directly on-site throughout the U.S., ensuring projects are executed efficiently and successfully.

We focus on fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $20.94-$46.25 (based on experience)

• Paid Time Off: 1 week of vacation plus accrued sick leave

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 4 years of experience working as a pipefitter in commercial construction or facility operations
• Journeyman-level work experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is preferred
• Experience with mechanical pipe installation
• Background in underground piping work and chiller lines
• Valid pipefitter license or journeyman certification
• Current welding certification
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications
