MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking General Laborers to join our Texas division in the Austin area. This full-time position involves working on professional construction sites, with duties that include maintaining a clean site, handling tools, and following site leadership guidance.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred. The role requires safety focus and physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (as stated).
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager.
• Follow direction from the Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager with regards to daily production schedule and activities.
• Works in conjunction with Leadman, Foreman, and/or Superintendent to ensure the job-site is safe prior to commencing work.
• Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools, equipment, and secure job site each day.
• Use equipment and/or an assortment of job tools.
• Perform general laborer work as needed.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
