Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking General Laborers to join our Texas division in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. You will work on professional construction sites, assisting with daily production, following direction from foremen, and helping keep the site safe.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a full-time position with potential overtime; a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 1 year of related construction or general labor experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Must work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager.
• Follow direction from the Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Project Manager with regards to daily production schedule and activities.
• Works in conjunction with Leadman, Foreman, and/or Superintendent to ensure the job-site is safe prior to commencing work.
• Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools, equipment, and secure job site each day.
• Use equipment and/or an assortment of job tools.
• Perform general laborer work as needed.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
