Aerotek is hiring a Construction General Laborer to install office furniture and storage systems in commercial buildings, primarily on-site in La Vista, NE. You will assemble desks and cubicles, use hand and cordless power tools, and help move materials to meet project timelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and safety, with travel to multiple project sites as needed and consistent full-time hours. Training and opportunities for growth are available in a hands-on environment.

Construction General Laborer Office Furniture Installation

Job Summary

Join a team that installs office furniture and storage systems in commercial buildings. This hands-on role involves assembling workstations, moving materials, unloading deliveries, and using hand and power tools to complete installations according to layouts and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install desks, cubicles, storage systems, and office furniture.
• Use hand tools and cordless power tools to complete installations.
• Unload, move, and stage furniture and materials at job sites.
• Read and follow basic layouts, drawings, and installation plans.
• Perform general labor tasks including drilling, assembly, and light construction work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Travel to other project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction, installation, furniture assembly, or general labor experience.

Schedule & Environment

Primarily Monday-Friday with occasional weekends based on project needs. Work is performed in commercial office buildings and includes frequent lifting, carrying, assembly work, and use of hand and power tools. Some travel may be required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vista, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
