Multicon Services LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our team as an Estimator. You will gather information, study project documentation, and prepare accurate cost estimates to help the company make profitable decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, a track record as an estimator, and proficiency with OST and Quick Bid to forecast labor and material costs while negotiating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or a related field.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred.
• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred.
• Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Skilled in relevant software (OST and Quick Bid).
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations.
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs.
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices.
• Create and submit estimates to project managers.
• Budget and forecast using appropriate software OST.
