Qualifications

• Must have strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Experience forecasting building costs and using estimation formulas.
• Proficient in researching and negotiating with vendors.
• Familiar with estimation software and cost databases.

• Fully understand project scope through documentation, client meetings, and site visits.
• Collect plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Determine key cost variables and research labor/material costs.
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers for best pricing.
• Create and submit estimates to project managers.

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Create and submit estimates to project managers
• Budget and forecast using appropriate software

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred
• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred
• Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Skilled in relevant software
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
