Traveling Construction Foreman
Travel to multiple project locations to supervise daily construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
Lead field crews and subcontractors while coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work assignments.
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project schedules to ensure work is completed according to plans.
Supervise site preparation, demolition, concrete, framing, drywall, finishes, equipment installation, and other construction activities as required by project scope.
Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients.
Plan work sequencing and maintain production schedules to meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety meetings, and jobsite inspections while enforcing OSHA and company safety requirements.
Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment staging, site logistics, and jobsite setup for traveling projects.
Identify field conflicts, design issues, material shortages, and schedule delays and communicate issues to project management.
Assist with RFIs, field documentation, daily reports, timekeeping, material tracking, and progress reporting.
Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate multiple trades to prevent conflicts and maintain productivity.
Verify completed work and coordinate inspections, punch-list activities, corrections, and final turnover.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites while minimizing disruptions to ongoing operations when working in occupied facilities.
Adapt quickly to different project locations, site conditions, crews, clients, local requirements, and construction schedules.
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company and client expectations.
