Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. Please note this will be an in-person role in the five boroughs on various active job sites, not a remote position.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage renovation and construction projects
2. Coordinate multiple subcontractors of different trades and manage internal labor force effectively
3. Work with building supers to arrange access, receive deliveries, coordinate plumbing shutdowns, and mitigate disturbances
4. Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations and proper site protection
5. Understand project sequencing, lead time management, site protection, budgeting, specifications, and create a critical path to completion
6. Schedule key deliverables and milestones, ensuring progress
7. Provide daily project updates and end-of-day reports, including photos, and communicate potential roadblocks and resource needs
8. Identify and mitigate potential issues
9. Attend walkthroughs, provide detailed scopes, identify specifications, and take measurements
10. Manage projects such as residential and office renovations, hallway renovations, HVAC duct cleaning, turnover painting, minor repairs, and apartment cleaning

Qualifications

• Understanding of construction best practices, professionalism, punctuality, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude
• Previous experience in construction and/or project management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of construction management methods and processes, with willingness to learn
• General knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes
