Job summary

MasTec, Inc. seeks a supervisor to oversee daily crew activities on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality and productivity. You will coordinate hiring needs, set deadlines, and enforce safety protocols with site leadership.

Responsibilities include interpreting specs, preplanning tasks, monitoring quality, ordering materials and coordinating equipment. Travel to different jobsites on short notice is required. Strong leadership and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three or more years of related construction experience.
• Or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications and read blueprints.
• Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule.
• Monitor quality control of work in place by craft workers.
• Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials.
• Coordinate equipment needs and ensure operators are qualified and equipment maintenance is up to date.
