Petroleum-Equipment-Construction in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead petroleum construction projects in the field. You will oversee day-to-day work on job sites, from layout and elevations through tank, shoring and piping installation, while mentoring crew members and operating equipment.

The role is hands-on with travel to project sites, starting early and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in petroleum construction, working as a field crew member or in a field leadership role.
• Ability to read plans, lay out sites and establish elevations.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Works well with others and builds strong crew relationships.
• Experience training or supervising field crews.

Salary Range: $32.00 To $36.00 Hourly

Position summary

PEC is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman to lead petroleum construction projects in the field. You will run day-to-day work on job sites, from layout and elevations through tank, shoring and piping installation, while training new crew members and operating equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role based in Orlando with regular travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities:

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of the petroleum construction industry, including tank installation (shoring/dewatering), piping installation, and setting of dispensers
• Construction of convenient stores including new installations, remodels and additions

Physical requirements and work environment:

• Work outdoors on active construction sites in Florida heat, rain and other weather conditions
• Early starts (6:00 AM) with variable end times based on project needs
• Travel to project sites up to 40% of the time
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb and work in excavations
• Lift and carry materials and tools as required by the job
