Job summary

3E LLC seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting, FP&A, and related functions for our construction services operations. The role oversees monthly financial statements, forecasts, budget analysis, and internal controls, while supporting audits and management with performance data.

The ideal candidate has deep construction project accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with project managers and operations to optimize margins and cost-to-complete

Qualifications

Requires CPA-eligibility or CPA (optional) status and strong GAAP knowledge.
Experience with contract-based project accounting and WIP reporting under ASC 606.
Proven ability to coordinate with project managers and operations on margins and cost-to-complete.

Responsibilities

Lead accounting, billing, AR/AP, and reporting functions.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and disclosures.
Own end-to-end job cost accounting, cost coding, and burden rates across projects.
Review monthly WIP schedules, earned revenue, and billings; reconcile to GL.
Ensure ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition methods.
Coordinate annual audit and provide schedules to auditors and lenders.
Develop and enforce internal control policies and procedures.
