Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company seeks a Construction Intern (Finance) to gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle. You may work in office and on job sites, with potential relocation to remote sites as needed.

Open to undergraduate students; you will support cost estimation, scheduling, procurement, and document control while interfacing with owners and subcontractors. Transportation is required and a 40-hour work week is typical for 10–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Willing to relocate to remote sites if required.
• Transportation is required.
• 40 hours/week for 10–12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in managing construction projects from bidding to final completion.
• Report to project manager, superintendent, project engineer, or field engineer.
• Assist with estimates, budgets and scheduling tasks.
• Coordinate with owners, architects and subcontractors; support RFI reviews and document control.
