Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a Senior Manager or Director in Business and Financial Advisory (Construction) to lead advisory projects in the Atlanta area. The role blends strategic financial leadership with hands-on project management and system design for construction clients.

Based in Atlanta with a hybrid schedule, you will guide teams, manage complex engagements, and provide senior-level financial insights while supporting professional development and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years in accounting/finance, with management experience 5–7 years.
• Direct construction industry experience required; strong leadership and client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Design and implement financial systems for clients.
• Provide strategic guidance and advisory services to construction clients.
• Serve as interim or fractional Controller or CFO as needed.
• Mentor staff and ensure high-quality output.
