STRATA, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Field Professional to perform field testing, observations, and inspections of construction materials in accordance with applicable standards.

You will support project success through accurate testing, timely reporting, and strong communication. Responsibilities include testing soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt, assisting senior staff, maintaining equipment, and traveling as needed with overtime during peak periods.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year of experience in construction materials testing.
• Certifications such as WAQTC, ACI, or APNGA are preferred.
• Ability to read project specifications and industry standards.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Professional to join our team in Boise, Idaho.

About the Role

A field professional performs field testing, observations, and inspections of construction materials in accordance with applicable standards. This role supports project success through accurate testing, timely reporting, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform observation and materials testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt
• Conduct testing in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Assist senior professionals with complex tasks
• Maintain and calibrate field and laboratory equipment
• Report results promptly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members
• Operate company vehicles responsibly and maintain their condition
• Travel out of town and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Experience and certifications for this position ideally include over 1 year of experience in construction materials testing and two or more of the following certifications:

• Soil and asphalt in-place density training (such as APNGA certifications);
• Concrete testing (ACI certifications);
• Sampling and testing aggregate, embankment, and asphalt (WAQTC certifications).
