IMC Construction is offering a Field Operations Intern position on active jobsites where you will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leaders to gain hands-on experience in planning, quality control, safety, and logistics.

As a student, you will support scheduling, material deliveries, cost tracking, site reporting, and coordination with subcontractors, while developing practical construction knowledge and professional skills.

Qualificações

• Current student enrolled in a college, university, or technical school pursuing a construction-related degree or certification.
• Strong interest in commercial construction and field operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams and trade partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications and willingness to learn construction management software and technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced jobsite environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support Quality Control: assist the project team in identifying, tracking, and resolving field quality control issues.
• Coordinate Materials & Deliveries: work with subcontractors and suppliers to expedite material deliveries.
• Assist with Scheduling: support short-range scheduling by confirming manpower, materials, and supplier availability.
• Track Field Costs & Changes: monitor work orders, change requests, and project events affecting cost or performance.
• Support Daily Project Operations: help with reports, site walks, quantity tracking, and schedule updates.
• Facilitate Communication: assist with subcontractor communications and upcoming responsibilities.
• Promote Safety Excellence: support project safety programs, inspections, reporting, and compliance.
• Support Site Logistics: help develop and maintain site logistics plans.
• Monitor Project Reporting: maintain project controls through documentation, photos, and records.
• Maintain Site Standards: support QA initiatives and keep a clean, organized jobsite.
• Support Risk & Compliance Management: assist with CCIP compliance, inspections, and incident reporting.
