Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, driven Landscape Construction Lead to direct field operations and manage on-site crew members. In this role, you will lead hardscape and softscape installations from blueprint to final walkthrough, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site & Crew Leadership: Direct and work alongside a crew of 2–5 members, maintaining high productivity and quality workmanship throughout the day.
• Project Execution: Interpret design blueprints, site plans, and scope-of-work (SOW) documents to execute hardscape (pavers, retaining walls, concrete) and softscape (grading, planting, irrigation, mulch) installations.
• Equipment & Materials: Safely operate heavy machinery (skid steers, excavators, trenchers) and manage daily on-site material allocation and tools.
• Quality & Safety Control: Enforce safety protocols, ensure proper installation techniques, and perform daily quality checks to prevent rework.
• Communication: Coordinate daily line-outs with the Operations/Project Manager and maintain professional communication with clients on-site.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in landscape construction, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or crew lead role.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience with hardscape installation (pavers, block walls), site grading, elevation setup, and reading plan sets.
• Equipment Proficiency: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment safely.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Leadership Traits: Strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and clear communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $25.00 –$30.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
