Job summary

A-C Electric Company in Fresno, CA is seeking a Construction Field Engineer to support the Project Manager and field teams by maintaining current documentation, monitoring work in place, and coordinating plans, drawings, and quality requirements.

You will participate in site walks, track progress, review project documents, and help connect field activities with schedules, improving coordination, safety, and overall project performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive, willing to learn and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate project documentation (submittals, RFIs, drawings, logs) in Procore and project systems.
• Support scheduling and production tracking with schedule updates and record-keeping.
• Observe quality and field progress; document discrepancies and coordinate with the team.
• Review project plans, specs, and documents; flag inconsistencies or changes.
• Coordinate information across the project team; participate in meetings and inspections.
