As a Field Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting on-site construction operations for multifamily development projects. Working closely with project leadership, you’ll help ensure construction activities stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety standards.
This is a highly visible, hands‑on role offering exposure to all phases of the construction process. If you enjoy being in the field, collaborating with trade partners, and solving problems in real time, this role provides an excellent foundation for a long‑term career in construction management.
Support project teams with site safety, scheduling, cost tracking, quality control, and punch list completion
Complete, update, and properly file quality control documentation
Assistwith coordination of material deliveries andlogistics
Help manage assigned trades or scopes of work from start through final punch
Provide day-to-day coordination and oversight of subcontractors and trade partners
Assistwith punch list execution as directed by site management
Track and report daily subcontractor headcount by trade
Promote job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
Document construction progress through daily and weekly site photos
Assistthe project team as needed to support successful project execution
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 1 year of construction experience; relevant internships or hands‑on experience may be considered
Basic understanding of construction terminology, drawings, and field processes
Exposure to construction scheduling, cost tracking, and job site safety
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar construction software is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment
Receptive to feedback and able to followdirectionto ensure successful task completion
