Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial construction, manufacturing, or fabrication shop experience.
• 2+ years people leadership experience (Preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in management, engineering or a related field (Preferred)
• Equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to ensure an injury-free environment.
• Oversees daily operations within area, ensuring product quality and timelines and applies corrective actions as needed.
• Develops and refines production schedules in response to demand, materials flow, and weather.
• Manages a production team and specialized staff focused on performance and efficiency.
• Tracks KPIs for production operations and recommends improvements.
• Leads daily standup and prefabrication group meetings.
• Manages inventory of raw materials and supplies to prevent production stoppages.
• Implements process improvements to increase efficiency and safety.
• Partners with SMEs and other prefabrication areas to optimize production metrics.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Uses technology to improve production management and performance.
