Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication and production of wood and metal components for construction projects. You will lead a team, manage schedules, inventory, and safety while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires 5+ years in construction/manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to maintain production goals. This on-site position offers growth within a respected builder and a focus on efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial construction, manufacturing, or fabrication shop experience.
• 2+ years people leadership experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• May require working overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Autonomy: makes decisions on assigned areas and refers exceptions to supervisor.
• Oversees daily operations ensuring product quality and timelines.
• Develops/refines production schedules in response to demand, material flow, weather.
• Leads a production team focused on performance and efficiency.
• Tracks KPIs and suggests improvements.
• Leads daily standup and prefabrication meetings.
• Manages inventory of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Implements process improvements and maintains regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with SMEs to sustain optimal production metrics.
