Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking an Estimator in Muskegon, MI to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for assigned projects. You will follow up with clients to overcome obstacles to bidding and provide ongoing cost support to operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field with 3 years’ experience, and proficiency in MS Office and estimating software such as Timberline, UScost, and WinEst.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, accounting or related field and 3 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Estimating software (such as Timberline, UScost, WinEst)

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify construction elements and enter quantities into pricing software
• Prepare bid forms, proposals, and price estimates for assigned projects
• Coordinate with Contracts and Operations to support bid and project needs
• Develop client relationships and provide cost estimate support through project lifecycle
