Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking an Estimator to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for assigned projects. You will follow up with clients to overcome obstacles and provide ongoing cost estimate support after award.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field with 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in estimating software (Timberline, UScost, WinEst) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting or related field and 3 years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Timberline, UScost, WinEst

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify construction elements for pricing
• Enter quantities into pricing software and create baseline job duration
• Coordinate with Contracts for insurance requirements and bid documents
• Develop bid proposals, including bid forms and qualification documents
• Price changes within required timeframes and support post-bid cost control
