Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Construction Estimator in Central Florida to handle earthwork, utilities and paving projects for a multi-entity contractor. The role offers direct access to leadership, exposure to larger bids, and a strong compensation package including benefits.

You will prepare estimates using AGTEK Earthwork, review plans, and develop bids for site development work with input from the Chief Estimator. This is an on-site position based in Orlando and requires 2+ years in civil estimating.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating experience in site development, excavation or civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, specs and geotechnical information.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial site development projects.
• Use AGTEK Earthwork for quantity takeoffs and site analysis.
• Develop pricing for labor, equipment, materials and subcontracted work.
• Build and maintain detailed bid spreadsheets and track bid status.
• Communicate with general contractors and internal teams before and after bids.
• Support handoff from estimating to project management.
