Knife River is seeking a project manager to administer awarded contracts, analyze plans, and coordinate activities to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role requires collaboration with clients and vendors, strong communication, and effective leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, staffing, cost estimation, and ensuring DOT/OSHA safety compliance. Travel may be required; a BS in construction management or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates project activities to meet goals within time and funding parameters.
• Establishes work plans and staffing; assigns duties and authority.
• Communicates effectively with clients, vendors, and staff to resolve issues.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications and proposals to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
• Administers negotiated contracts and tracks performance of awarded bids.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance across the project and fields.
