Job summary

Granite Construction seeks a Construction Estimator to support project controls, take-offs, and bid preparation in Henderson, NV. You will interpret drawings for craft workers and collaborate with on-site teams to help ensure schedule and budget alignment.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of estimating experience, with exposure to construction materials and cost data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating support or similar experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office; AGTEK Take-off experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Interpret drawings for craft workers installing material to ensure specs are followed.
• Interface with on-site departments to resolve problems and support project schedule.
• Prepare documentation records and change orders to support estimates and bids.
