The role involves reviewing plans, performing take-offs for lumber and related products, soliciting pricing, and maintaining vendor relations while meeting deadlines and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications (≤140 chars).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, blueprints, specifications, and requirements to prepare estimates and quotations.
• Perform material take-offs for lumber, millwork, building materials, windows, doors, kitchens, and related products.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages within timelines.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and customers to clarify details.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing information and vendor relationships.
