Job summary

Structure Tone International, part of the STO Building Group, seeks an Estimator for its Boston HQ to drive budgeting and bidding for diverse projects. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver accurate estimates and support project delivery from design through closeout.

The role involves office or project-site work, detailed budgeting, bid reviews, risk analysis, and value engineering to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or relevant construction experience preferred.
• Experience with On Screen Take Off or similar software.
• 3–5 years in estimating, purchasing, and related duties.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office/Excel.
• Willing to report daily to the Boston office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the estimating process on projects totaling $5M–$100M per year.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior construction projects, including tenant fit-outs and renovations.
• Review and interpret drawings, specs to identify scope, materials, and labor.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support project team through all phases of construction.
