Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management is seeking a Construction Estimator in our Denham Springs, LA corporate office to analyze plans, prepare detailed cost estimates, and support project managers through bidding and construction. Projects include residential remodels and commercial renovations with multi-family or student housing components.

The role requires 3–5 years of estimating experience, proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office, and a solid understanding of construction methods and codes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural plans and specifications to prepare estimates.
• Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost summaries.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and scopes.
• Perform quantity take-offs for construction components.
• Review estimates with project managers and revise as needed.
