A leading construction firm in San Antonio seeks a Construction Estimator to manage the preparation of commercial project proposals and bids. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the field. This role involves estimating costs, reviewing plans, and collaborating with the estimating team to ensure accuracy and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years previous commercial construction experience with public, private or federal projects required.
• Civil estimating experience preferred.
• Visit project and pre‑bid meetings to understand site conditions/scope.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial construction project proposals and bids.
• Identify and compute labor, material, and time costs by studying proposals and specifications.
• Review plans and specifications to provide accurate take‑off.
• Work with estimating team to build the estimate and pricing.
• Develop preliminary schedule.
