Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, catalog, and respond to bid invitations from clients.
• Analyze bid drawings, specs, addenda, and documents to identify scope.
• Generate electronic on-screen takeoffs.
• Conduct site visits and participate in pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Formulate costs for materials, labor, processing, and administration.
• Solicit, negotiate, and evaluate quotes from vendors.
• Communicate with customers and vendors effectively.
• Prepare detailed and timely proposals.
• Follow up bids to obtain feedback.
• Transfer bid information from awarded projects to detailing and PM.
• Assist project management in pricing change orders.
• Analyze actual vs estimated costs at project closeout.
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
• Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and reading.
• Prepare and maintain directory of suppliers and subcontractors.
