Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business with internships lasting 3+ months.
• Or, 4+ years of construction project work experience with Linbeck, an MEPF subcontractor and/or design firm, in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to ensure the assigned scope is estimated, contracted, and procured to meet contractual obligations.
• Take-off responsibilities: obtain architect plans, input into take-off software, and calculate project parameters like wall lengths and switches.
• Create bid lists and identify subcontractors best suited for project size and complexity.
• Direct bid invitations with subcontractors, verify receipt, confirm bid intent, and ensure timely submissions.
• Manage project scoping by obtaining quotes, identifying missing items, and pricing gaps.
• Interface with subcontractors and suppliers for document distribution, pre-qualification, and scheduling input.
• Guide scheduling preparation by coordinating with project and scheduling personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support overhead and general condition planning and pricing including staffing and equipment.
• Draft and review vendor contracts with inclusions/exclusions and job requirements.
• Collect and analyze historical cost data for the cost database.
