Qualifications

• Experience estimating construction projects and preparing written proposals.
• Ability to evaluate site conditions and provide accurate bids.
• Experience negotiating pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with estimating software and cost databases.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and resources for timely bids.

Responsibilities

• Estimate from plans and blueprints and prepare written proposals.
• Communicate project scope clearly with customers and team members.
• Visit sites to assess conditions for accurate bidding.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Gather quantities, subcontractor quotes, and labor estimates for bids.
• Review subcontractor quotes for completeness and accuracy.
• Use estimating software to generate quotes and track changes.
• Identify long lead items and coordinate with customers for approvals.
• Assist with material purchasing and scheduling deliveries.
• Support change-order valuation and processing.
• Coordinate subcontractors as needed to complete bids on time.
