Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and local labor/material costs.
• Determine key cost drivers and estimate variables.
• Read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Gather data from job sites and suppliers for accurate proposals.
• Research labor costs, materials, and production times for cost comparisons.
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Manage RFPs, due dates, and billing information.
• Prepare and submit estimate reports to Sales/PMs/Director.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Advise on planning and manpower requirements.
