Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Estimator for an onsite York, PA role. You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop accurate cost estimates for commercial projects.

You will analyze subcontractor proposals, prepare bid packages, and identify value engineering opportunities while coordinating with project teams and clients. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial estimating, strong Excel and estimating software skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects on-site

Work Environment

• Office-based position with regular travel to project sites.

• Combination of desk work, site visits, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds and the ability to navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders and working at heights when necessary.

• Fast-paced environment requiring effective prioritization and management of multiple projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
