Job summary

Empire Netting and Fence is seeking a Commercial Fabrication Estimator who values thoughtful planning over rushed numbers. You’ll develop accurate bids for pre‑construction, read blueprints and specs, and coordinate with PMs, engineers, and subs to set projects up for success.

You’ll think three steps ahead, communicate clearly with builders, and take pride in estimates that are solid and well thought out. This role offers predictable work, collaborative teams, and competitive pay with strong

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating (or closely related experience).
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specs.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with estimating tools like Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage, or similar.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything, but you need to care.

You Likely Have

• 2+ years of construction estimating (or closely related experience)
• A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
• The ability to read and truly understand blueprints and specs
• Experience with estimating tools like Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage, or similar
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skillsConfidence to ask questions, submit RFIs, and challenge unclear scope
