Location:Remote (U.S.-based)

Position Summary:As a Construction Estimator at Presmont, you will play a key role in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects. This includes both ground-up builds and remodels. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure our bids are thorough, timely, and aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and related documents.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for all phases of construction.
• Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers nationwide.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to clarify scope and ensure estimate accuracy.
• Identify potential risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and pricing databases.
• Support bid preparation and proposal development for our clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with convenience stores, restaurants, retail, and/or marina projects is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Red Team, Building Connected, or similar bid/estimating platforms).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
