Job summary

MEP Estimator role for data center GC—remote-first, USA. You will develop estimates across MEP scopes, work with preconstruction and leadership, and target projects from about $10 million to $100 million+.

Requirements include at least 3 years as an estimator, GC-side experience, and strong MEP and cost-analysis skills. Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• GC-side estimating experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, subcontractor pricing and construction costs.
• Experience preparing and reviewing detailed estimates, bids and scopes.

MEP ESTIMATOR | REMOTE-FIRST | USA - Data center GC

Up to $130,000 + 10% Annual Bonus

We're working with a growing General Contractor with 50 employees and more than $2 BILLION in future project opportunities, and they're looking to add an experienced MEP Estimator to the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who wants to join a well-established GC who have plans to treble in size over the next 2 years, work on major data center projects, and have a meaningful role in a business with a significant pipeline ahead.

The Opportunity

As an MEP Estimator, you'll be responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates across mechanical, electrical and plumbing scopes, working closely with preconstruction, project management and senior leadership. The project scopes you will estimate will be circa $10 million but as you grow into the role the projects could be north of $100 million.

You'll have the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-value projects exclusively in the data center space while being part of a relatively lean team where your experience and input genuinely matter.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Estimator
• GC-side estimating experience is essential
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, subcontractor pricing and construction costs
• Experience preparing and reviewing detailed estimates, bids and scopes
• Strong ability to analyze drawings, specifications and subcontractor proposals

Ideally, you'll also have:

• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience estimating commercial, industrial or other large-scale construction projects
• Experience working on projects with significant MEP complexity
