Job Details

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience estimating and preparing bids for industrial or mechanical construction projects, including water/wastewater treatment plants or pump stations
• Ability to identify quality bidding opportunities (QBOs): researching and analyzing RFPs for hard-bid and negotiated-bid projects, and assessing potential value/ROI
• Understanding of heavy civil construction principles, operations, and logistics
• Ability to maintain relationships with internal and external customers through accountability and respect
• Proven track record of preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and estimates for general conditions, labor, equipment, and materials
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with construction and estimating software such as HCSS (HeavyBid / HeavyJob), Bid to Win, Procore, Primavera P6, BlueBeam, PlanSwift, Pipeline, Building Connected, etc.
