Position Available: Estimator

R-2 Contractors is seeking a motivated and experienced Estimator to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success, emphasizing integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret and understand project documents, including scope of work, terminology, and specifications.
2. Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to develop accurate estimates.
3. Estimate material, labor, productivity, and equipment requirements for projects.
4. Develop preliminary construction schedules.
5. Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients.
6. Coordinate project planning across internal departments.

Requirements:

• Experience in civil and/or power industries is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with HCSS HeavyBid software is a plus.
• Willingness to be trained in HCSS HeavyJob software.
• Experience with Microsoft Project software is desirable.
• Strong team player, flexible, and adaptable to multiple duties.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and meet insurance requirements.
• Willingness to work long hours and in varying conditions.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Salary: $100,000 - $185,000 (dependent on experience)
