The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction project management, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with an outstanding benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Review and evaluate cost estimates
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Preparation of estimates, purchase orders, change orders
• Preparation of proposals/budget
• Preparation of cost analysis
• Management of bid pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Visiting job sites
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Bid preparation and submission
  
  

The ideal candidate must process the following skills:

• 10 + years in construction estimating
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Impeccable problem solving skills
• Great attention to detail
• Well organized
• Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts
• Data analysis and estimation metrics
• Able to read site construction plans and develop cost estimates
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Earthworks Software
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
