Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 / year

Seeking a motivated Estimator to join our team to support multiple commercial, government and healthcare projects. The Estimator will report to the Program Manager as well as collaborate and assist client staff to provide data and generate reports, as a representative for the client on major construction, real property, and other special projects.
Responsibilities:
This list is not considered all-inclusive and may be modified in the specific task orders. The CM services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts.
· Develop comprehensive estimates in accordance with common construction estimating practices and software
· Perform detailed review of project plans and specifications
· Perform quantity takeoffs for civil and structural construction activities.
· Prepare top-down conceptual and bottoms-up detailed estimates. Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates.
· Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.
· Perform quantity takeoffs for various types of building construction activities.
· Perform detailed review of project plans and specifications
· Ensure entire project scope is covered in the estimate
Qualifications:
The Estimator shall possess a current professional credentialing as an Estimator and maintenance of same throughout tenure. Acceptable credentialing includes CPE, CCP, CEP, or similarly qualified professional construction estimators.
The Estimator shall be able to quickly understand and master the requirements of the local state and federal jurisdictions and the requirements of each.
The Estimator shall possess a degree from an accredited institution of higher learning with a specialty in Estimating or evidence of three (3) years of construction estimating work experience and knowledge to compensate for the absence of higher education. Work experience may be substituted and will be reviewed for acceptability.
The Estimator must have a work experience in preparing, analyzing, and identifying incongruities and deficiencies in the contractor's work in relationship with the baseline schedule of values and monthly pay requests. Work completed shall be identified in the credentials of the individual to show competency to undertake a rigorous program in construction for cost control in all identified task order scope of work required.
The Estimator must possess Communication, Language, and Software Skills with the ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy.
