Primary Focus:
The Estimator’s role is essential to the success and growth of Metro Environmental Services and its proposals. They will be responsible for preparing construction estimates that focus on environmental and fuel facility related projects. They will rely heavily on their analytical abilities to review projects, create takeoffs, utilize subcontractors and suppliers, and collaborate with the MES team in order to produce an accurate and complete estimate. This role reports directly to the Chief Estimator and will serve as an essential member of the Estimating team.
Overall, they’ll be a key member of the Estimating team and be expected to work seamlessly within their team and cross-functional departments at MES. They will use their knowledge and understanding of current construction processes and methods, scheduling and pricing to deliver concise information to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, architects, engineers, clients and team members. Leveraging technology to streamline their workflows and to simultaneously manage several projects is a consistent part of their strategy.
