Job summary

Jobot, a Chicagoland General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator in the Naperville area to join a team that emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and long-term careers. The role involves early budgeting input, working with project managers and field leadership, and delivering disciplined preconstruction estimates.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in estimating for commercial construction, familiarity with GMP estimates, and proficiency in estimating software and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience with commercial construction (ground-up and/or renovation).
• Strong understanding of scopes, assemblies, and subcontractor trades.
• Ability to prepare conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates.
• Experience with subcontractor solicitation, leveling, and scope review.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
