RL Enterprise is hiring for a confidential client that’s setting the standard in construction excellence. Their core services include construction management, design-build, preconstruction, and safety & risk management, with experience across data centers, higher education, retail, museums, and entertainment facilities.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join the Preconstruction team. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of each project—analyzing plans, developing detailed cost projections, and collaborating closely with project leaders, architects, and subcontractors.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects based on drawings, specs, and site conditions
• Analyze quantity takeoffs, labor, equipment, and materials
• Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor pricing
• Coordinate with Project Managers and design teams to develop accurate scopes
• Review bid proposals and track project costs during execution
• Help maintain historical cost data and estimating templates
• Conduct occasional site visits to ensure estimate accuracy
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and preconstruction best practices

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years’ experience in commercial estimating or preconstruction
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, and Excel-based estimating tools
• Solid understanding of construction documents, materials, and means & methods
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• AEP, CPE, or other professional certifications
• Experience with large commercial, institutional, or data center projects
