Job summary

Elsdon Group is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent in Georgia for ground-up restaurant, retail, and gas station construction. You will oversee projects from mobilization through turnover, manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Construction Superintendent, willingness to travel nationwide, and strong leadership and communication skills to run projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Experience in restaurant, retail or gas-station projects is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up construction projects from mobilization to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and onsite trades.
• Maintain schedules, quality, safety, and site organization.
• Lead daily site meetings and ensure milestones are met.

Ground-Up Restaurant, Retail & Gas Station Construction

Location: Georgia | Travel: Nationwide / Multi-State

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 + Per Diem + Company Truck

We are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join a well-established General Contractor based in Georgia. The company specializes in ground-up restaurant, retail, and gas station construction, and is looking for a Superintendent who can take ownership of projects from mobilization through completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Superintendent who enjoys traveling and wants to work with a contractor that has a strong pipeline of ground-up projects.

The Role

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of ground-up commercial construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up construction projects from site mobilization through final completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and onsite trades
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Conduct daily site meetings and coordinate site activities
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets plans and specifications
• Maintain a safe and organized jobsite
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries and material requirements
• Work closely with Project Managers, clients, architects and subcontractors
• Manage punch lists, closeout and final turnover
• Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Restaurant, retail and/or gas station construction experience highly preferred
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules and specifications
• Comfortable traveling for extended periods
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to independently run a project from start to finish
