Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a contract project estimator in Kentucky to develop and analyze cost estimates for industrial and commercial building projects. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, supporting the planning team, and advancing unit cost data.

This role requires experience with CSI MasterFormat and ability to create bid proposals from drawings. The position offers a 7:00 am–4:00 pm EST schedule, pays $54-$64/hr on a W2 basis, and entails up to 25% overtime with travel

Qualifications

• 1-10 years of project estimating experience for construction in industrial and/or commercial buildings.
• Bachelor's or Equivalent, Major in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Develop project estimates for building construction, renovation, or improvements of industrial and commercial buildings.
• Project estimates range from simple improvements to existing systems up to design and construction of greenfield sites.
• Perform cost analysis of projects currently proposed or recently completed using conceptual designs or engineered drawings.
• Support other Planning group members with similar project cost estimations.
• Continue development of unit costs from current and historical projects and support estimating software development.

Schedule: Mon thru Fri; 7:00 am to 4:00 pm EST

Pay: $54-$64/hr on w2

Travel: Yes 10% (U.S., Canada and/or Mexico as well as foreign travel including Japan for Meetings and observations only)

• Ability to create bid proposals, utilizing CSI Master Format, based on drawing packages and available models.
