• Develop and submit competitive bids to secure contracts while ensuring profitability and adherence to deadlines
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Conduct value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all estimates, bids, and correspondence for internal and client reference
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project details and adjust estimates as needed
• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them during the estimation process

• Requires jobsite visits at times

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Construction Estimating Experience
• 5+ Years of Commercial Construction Experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Current valid drivers’ license and the ability to operate motor vehicles

• At times; lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
